- One identity, reused across Film and Game Studio
- Reference images you upload or generate
- Rendered reference sheets on demand

What it makes
Cast is an account-level library of character identities. Each one holds who the character is and the reference images that prove it, and the studios render reference sheets from them on demand. Film and Game Studio read the same library, so a character you built once stays the same character shot after shot.
For anyone making more than one scene with the same face. If your second shot came back with a different person in it, this is the part that was missing.
How a session works
- Create a character and give it reference images — ones you upload, or ones you generate here.
- Render a reference sheet when a studio needs one, and keep it with the identity rather than in a folder.
- Use the character in Film Studio or Game Studio; swap it later and the work that used it follows.
What it costs
Holding a character and reusing it costs nothing. Generating reference images and rendering reference sheets spend credits, and both are reused rather than re-made.
Generation spends credits: paid plans include a monthly allowance, the Free plan starts with a one-time welcome grant, and you can top up at any time.
Included from the Max plan.
Questions
- Why do I need a cast at all?
- Because generation does not remember faces. An identity with reference images is what makes the same character come back in the next shot instead of somebody who resembles them.
- Can I use my own reference photos?
- Yes. Upload the images you have, generate the ones you do not, and mix the two in one identity.
- Does it work across the studios?
- Yes, and that is the reason it is account-level rather than per project. One identity, reused by Film Studio and Game Studio alike.
- What if I want to change a character?
- Swap the identity and the work that referenced it picks up the new one, so a change of face does not mean redoing everything that had the old one in it.
